Tender Description

Project Context: Since the African Union’s directive during its 28th session in January 2017, the African Peer Review Mechanism has relentlessly worked towards assisting member states in credit ratings. A strategic framework was established with objectives aimed at educating sectors on the implications of sovereign credit ratings, enhancing member states’ proficiency in periodic financial, political, economic, and social impact analyses, and supporting the regulation of credit rating agencies. Additionally, a network of experts is envisioned for best practice sharing in sovereign credit ratings, as well as offering technical support in applying acceptable recommendations and regulatory framework establishment concerning credit rating agency operations.

Job Role: The selected procurement assistant will operate within the Operations Directorate, where establishing purchase orders and maintaining procurement records are part of the essential functions. Furthermore, the individual will support the rollout of the outlined strategic framework with financial assistance provided by the Open Society Foundation (OSF).
