Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality is inviting expressions of interest from contractors for registration on a panel for construction projects. The registration is open to contractors with CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Grade 5-6 in categories GB (General Building), CE (Civil Engineering), EP (Electrical Engineering), EB (Electrical Building), or ME (Mechanical Engineering). This panel will be used on an as-needed basis over a period of three years.

Special Conditions:

  • Tender Documents: Available for free on the e-tender portal; however, a non-refundable tender deposit of R500 is required when purchasing the document from the SCM unit.
  • Evaluation Criteria: The tender will be evaluated based on functionality and an 80/20 criteria, where 80 points are for price and 20 points for specific goals: Women (5 points), Disability (5 points), Youth (5 points), and Military Veterans (5 points).
